Pensée of $ROAR vs $LUNA, credited to a request by @MrMohawk
No TA, because:
1. you're looking for a priori analyses. I don't do a priori analyses.
so: 2. fundamentals apply here.
To predict the future, you invent it. ~Alan Kay.
Which token is BUIDL'n? Which one not? Which token has a community, interest/buzz, plans/goals, active devs?
For me Terra, both Terra 'Classic' and Terra '2.0' (they really missed the obvious 'NuTerra' when they went for branding) were dead things.
@mirror_protocol, the only worthwhile thing on BOTH those chains, had just been rugged. A THIRD time.
Then @TheLionDAO $ROAR showed up.
This synopsis is rather blithe, ignoring the solid contributions of, e.g. and i.e. @eris_protocol, particularly on NūTerra, and now, on multiple chains (Migaloo, Kujira, etc).
But it was $ROAR that created the buzz and then BANKED on that buzz by following up by BUIDL'n and teaming.
Did Terra 'Classic' have a future?
Nupe. Nothing was happening on that chain. And until something non-ruggy did, nothing would. Ever.
NūTerra?
Nupe.
I dropped a pin there, several times over the past year, and all I heard were echos.
But because of @TheLionDAO $ROAR?
I get that others may be angry with $ROAR's success, and the turbulence that $ROAR has and is causing. I get that.
But without $ROAR, what was there to speak of? We wouldn't be talking Terra, seriously, without the $ROAR business-case as a (major) part of that conversation.'
Now, you want to run numbers? Run numbers.
Go to @astroport_fi and check activity, TVL, and transactions there.
Go to @TeamKujira FIN and BOW and look at the 24h-volumes and TVLs there. (ANOTHER reason Terra is back at the table: @TeamKujira. SERIOUSLY!)
Look at the liquidity.
So, we can argue, and debate, and vote, if you want to.
But: why? What is there to argue? What is there to debate, even?
Because $ROAR is an entirely different business case than either $LUNC or $LUNA.
It's like arguing which is the better team: Boston Red Sox or Wrexham Football. Are they going to meet in the playoffs? Really?
Here's a thought.
$LUNC will succeed, or fail, based on its own merits. Not on those merits, nor failings, of $ROAR.
And vice versa.
If you're a $LUNC-stan, I wish you every success based upon your dev team's and community's performance and backing.
$ROAR: samesies.
"Yeah, geophf, easy for your to critique from the side-lines, but what are you doing?"
Fair.
I'm doing both.
I'm heavily, PRUDENTLY, invested in BOTH $ROAR AND $LUNA, and, at that, mostly on the @TeamKujira blockchain (@eris_protocol and @TheLionDAO protocols come into play)
But the real question is: why am I even invested in either? When I could be invested into $BTC and $ETH or $KUJI or $ATOM or $FTM or $AVAX or ... whatever Apex Token you want to put here.
I'm there, too, frenz.
Why, though?
Because I invest into tokens of value.
That's why.
~ love, geophf
