Where (and how) I'm investing now

Inspired by a query on the twitterz by @beto2391.

What I'm doing these days is:

  • AVAX-AVAX on @avalancheavax @BenqiFinance, mostly.
  • sFTMX-FTM on @GranaryFinance @FantomFDN along with USDC-MIM on @GeistFinance

then:

  • trading on FIN

then:

  • @demexchange and @Umee_CrossChain on COSMOS

Do I like money markets? Yes. Yes, I do.

When you loop a liquid-staking token with its token, you must accept that somebody wants it to depeg, so,  hedge.

The way I hedge is the stable liquid-staking LPs on @demexchange, @OsmosisFrontier, @eris_protocol, and @beethoven_x

The. End.

p.s: the @GMX_IO $GMX-$GLP staking value-proposition is interesting; I'm up 30% there over time. And the single @UnlDexFinance pools on @FantomFDN are hard to beat at 60% and 40% ($FTM and $USDC, respectively).

Amazingly: they are NOT INCENTIVIZED! these are trading-fee-yields!

I really have to focus more on the BTC-ETH 💸🖨️ someday soon-...ish. 😅

There's a magic-trick for ETH and BTC that I'm learning from @ScammoonR: one prints the other, depending upon their ratio.

I haven't learned this magic trick yet, but, you can be sure that when I get the hang of this, I'll share out this technique.

Mirror Protocol: where to invest, pop-answer

Answer to the pop-quiz that asked where to apportion liquidity on the Mirror protocol.

As @Ki_wei0x pointed out, @mirror_protocol domain went bye-bye.

so, the correct answer, for me, anyway, is to withdraw all liquidity from @mirror_protocol.

"I have $300, geophf. Where do I put it?"

Okay, after chasing this bear down, down, down my freed up collateral and short-sale unlocks from the @mirror_protocol look like this:

  • 162 $UST ... AND:
  • 123 $aUST

Okay.

wow. 😳

So, some of it is earning ~19.5% on @anchor_protocol; some of it is not.

Can we do better? Yes. Always.

@anchor_protocol EARN is a baseline, not the pinnacle. @anchor_protocol EARN, in my book, is where you put non-productive money.

I don't have that luxury now, folks.

So, okay, then, so: "Where do I put that $300+, geophf?" is what you're asking, right?

Here's the thing. You know what working in your portfolio, and what's not. And if you DON'T know that, you'd better find out, RIGHT QUICK!

Let's find out.

Right quick.

I was asked: "What self-loans do you have? What is their [paid-off] status?"

So, because I don't have that answer at my fingertips, I built the following list as a response.

But we can (and will) do better. Let's report state and performance on these loans.

Let's study to which protocol I'm loaning.

... Hi, @DefiKingdoms Serendale and CrystalVale:

they take ~70% of the loaned tokens.

I've loaned to which blockchains?

No surprises here.

How am I going to repay the loans?

It's pretty evenly split between Heroes (in this case: questing or active income) and LPs (passive income).

Good 50% / 50% split, then.

From whence the loans come?

I've pretty evenly distributed the loan-load across portfolii and protocols, I think.
