Indigo charges in staked assets when issuing liquidated ADA

Okay: @Cardano @Indigo_protocol.

Do you know that when you STAKE your synthetic assets { $iBTC, $iETH, $iUSD }, and you get liquidated $ADA, @Indigo_protocol  

CHARGEs you 

part of your synthetic assets, in effect: trading YOUR Bitcoin, ETH and stable for $ADA?

I don't know what they charge: is it 1/100th? 1-to-10? 1-to-1? I don't know (yet).

I don't like this. I participate in @Indigo_protocol for the synthetic assets, not for ME to be partially liquidated of those assets because somebody else was imprudent in their collateralization.

Now, I _MAY_ be making out like gang-busters, and @Indigo_protocol _MAY_ be generously making me very rich. My ETHBTC-reports will bear this, or the opposite, out.

But if you stake synthetic assets on @Indigo_protocol: keep an eye out for this. Do their docs say they do this?

2024-03-19 ETHBTC HODL report

Let's turn our attention to the ETHBTC HODL portfolio on @Indigo_protocol (as opposed to the ETHBTC trading portfolio on @TeamKujira).

First up, I get the $ADA and $SNEK prices from @Indigo_protocol and @MinswapDEX, but look at the liquidations.

HAHAHAHA! $iUSD STAKE PAID OFF!

So, let's collect the yields and staking-rewards. First up, the $INDY-yields. I collect the yields and swap to $ADA.

And, since the price of $ADA is depressed, I 'know' the EMA20 will recommend ADA/USD buy, so I place a buy limit order on "the based coin."

As you see, the buy limit-order fills, and with a vengeance!

I suppose that's what happens when $BTC tumbles down the stairs!

I transfer the $ADA from my 'based coin'-addy to my @Cardano-one.

Next, the staking-rewards from synthetic asset liquidations. I collect those.

That's $110 in a month or two, or an 50% APY for the $iBTC-stake and 20% APY for the $iUSD-stake.

Which is PRETTY AWESOME!

Trading

So, first the ADA/USD EMA20 says, as I thought: "Buy!"

The $SNEK ratios { SNEK/USD, SNEK/ADA }-EMA20s also say: "Buy!"

So, I use the SNEK/ADA-calculator on my SPREADSHEETSZORXEN! to compute how much I should swap.

It's a conservative swap, which is okay. I've made 50% in the ADA-SNEK-ADA-arb, so a 50% gain even over $30-worth is still a nice bene for simply swapping along the EMA20 indicator.

Along the ETHBTC-THANG! both { ADA/BTC, ADA/ETH }-EMA20s say "BUY $ADA!"

Which I won't do, as this is my HODL-portfolio.
