SILK-USK, new LP on Shade Protocol

@Shade_Protocol has a new pool under their swap-tab: SILK-USK LP, a stable-stable pool, which is currently incentivized at 52% APY!

The SILK-USK LP, staked on @Shade_Protocol, pays yields 50/50 in $SHD (their protocol token) and in $KUJI.

Sweet!

As you can see above, you can stake by

  • providing SILK-USK LP tokens OR
  • by asymmetric provisioning ('zapping') $SILK or $USK tokens.

You mint $SILK-tokens by going to their borrow-tab and providing collateral, such as, e.g.: $stATOM or $axlUSDC, which I think is cool.

Which begs the question: I wonder when they are going to allow $USK as collateral to mint $SILK?

@Shade_Protocol: thoughts?

ETHBTC, 2023-06-06

I'm going to do my ETHBTC-thang now.

"What's my ETHBTC-thang?" you ask.

Good question. My answer.

Before I can do that, I need liquidity, so I transfer stable from @FantomFDN to @osmosiszone via @avax (they have the @CurveFinance $axlUSDC pool!)

Next, I enter the $ETH and $BTC prices from, eh: @osmosiszone into my SPREADSHEETSZORXEN! to get the ratio for the EMA-20 indicator, defined at @Investopedia.

The SPREADSHEETSZORXEN! says:

  • swap 0.1791 $ETH

Now, I have a confession to make: I 'misplaced' 1 $ETH (I left it in my wallet, instead of lending it to Ghost). So that earlier liquidity transfer from @FantomFDN was not needed.

Ah! Fun diversion, anyway.

I transfer the $ETH.

  • I do the swapy-swapy-thing $ETH -> $BTC

  • I transfer the $BTC to @TeamKujira via @axelarcore

  • I lend the $BTC to Ghost.

I am tracking my ETHBTC-swaps on my blog here.

The. End.

Kujira FIN order book OG

Here's a @TeamKujira #FunFact that most of you don't realize.

When they stand up a new order book on FIN, they need liquidity.

Do you know what they give to the people who provide liquidity?

They wave the 0.75% coin fee when the sale occurs.

Why? Because they love us OGs.

I'm not saying

"They love us OG" like "Oh, @logicalgraphs is an OG; he gets a free pass."

No. I'm saying, if YOU are one of the first liquidity providers to an order book that bootstraps that book? YOU are an OG and YOU get the free pass.

YOU provide liquidity: THEY honor that

So, say they stand up a new order book and it needs liquidity, and you like the token?

Provide liquidity to that new order book. Start it up.

When your order gets filled, and it's order #10, like my $BTC-sell-order# was, ...

You get OG-status and no commission charged to you.

ETHBTC swap, 2023-06-03

I collect the $BTC and $ETH prices from @osmosiszone

I then feed these values to my SPREADSHEETSZORXEN which updates the EMA-20 value which informs its 'automagic' call for today:

  • swap 0.1805 $ETH (for $BTC)

So let's do that.

  • I ZIP! that $ETH over to @osmosiszone via Satellite

  • SWAP it to $wBTC

  • then ZAP! it back to @TeamKujira via the IBC

  • where I lend that $wBTC to Ghost.

SOMEBODY WANNA BORROW $BTC, HUH? I HAVE $BTC YOU CAN BORROOOOOWWWW! 😎

The ETHBTC-'arb' is an interesting one.

One is arb'n $ETH against $BTC AND one is arb'n $BTC against $ETH, and: no matter which way you're arb'n here, you win as you swap from strength to strength.

The thing is, for us minnows, this arb ('arbs'?) success is measured in months and years, not in days nor seconds.

But this arb is the OG: $BTC and $ETH have been around for a decade and may be around for more than a decade.

"The ETHBTC-thing."™

What is the ETHBTC-thing? @SavyFrancis1 asks that so I compiled the approach:
Do the pop-quizzes, and you'll be able to tell me all about ETHBTC, yourself! 😎

What if you need liquidity on Cosmos? Avalanche has the @CurveFinance $axlUSDC pool.
