Daily cryptocurrency income report, 2022-04-22

Daily #cryptocurrency income report, 2022-04-22: $305.67*

It took me all day to get through only 3 self-funding projects. Imagine if I just did this only for myself? I could make at least twice the money per day.

Are you worth it?

Yes.

Measure, measure, measure ... daily.

Okay, yesterday, I collected the measures on protocols I've (self-)lended to.

Let's measure, again, to see where I invest next.

The protocols as above are listed:

  • (Tranq)/Defira
  • DefiKingdoms (LPs)
  • DefiKingdoms (Heroes)
  • EvoVerses
  • Prism
  • Reflect DAO
  • CrystalVale
  • Unite

Let's visit and update these in turn.

Tranquil/Defira

First half of first up: @tranquil_fi

With beastly locked $TRANQ fees stake.

Second half of first up: @Defiraverse with beastly, but also very, VERY altered, farm yields.

So after I do all the @Defiraverse-things (HOWTO), my @Defiraverse burn-down chart and asset allocation looks like this.

416.72% growth.

  • Opportunity: $TRANQ - $ONE LP
  • Opportunity: infinite $ONE well
DefiKingdoms LPs

Second: @DefiKingdoms LPs.

After harvesting yields (finally more than 1 $JEWEL per day, definitively), I'm reinvesting into JEWEL-FTM LP, which toppled JEWEL-ONE LP this afternoon.

12.58% growth.

  • Opportunity: JEWEL-FTM LP
  • Opportunity: JEWEL-ONE LP
DefiKingdoms Heroes

Third: @DefiKingdoms Heroes.

Let's start this one off with a foraging quest haul ...

... OF TWO RUNESZORXEN! WOOT!

... and it's a good thing we got those RUNESZORXEN because ... [wait for it] ...

Please welcome Song Diamoju, forager, to level 4.

Now, back to the forests with ye, Song!

And, then, a mining quest bonus in the mines to sweeten this adventure:

2.5 BONUS $JEWEL from our gardener, yes: GArdENeR, in the mines.

... and that's wonderful!

But the bread and butter (and jam? maybe?) of heroes is quest-bounty, and, as with everything, I have a spreadsheet for that, wouldn't you know.

Okay, I sold all the items for 3440 gold, then swapped the gold for 4 $JEWEL. Here's where we sit, with the hero burn-down chart, burning a bit more than 2 $JEWEL per day now.

Our hero efficacy is as follows.

The fishers win the day for this week.

DefiKingdoms Heroes vs LPs efficacy

Alright, but what is the hero APY? APR? I don't know how to do that, but I can do something.

Hero yield/Hero cost in $JEWEL: 49.4 /  693.5 = 0.07
LP yield/LP cost in $JEWEL: 40.3 / 130 = 0.31

LPs are 0.31 / 0.07 = 4.4x more productive per $JEWEL invested.

Opportunity is the LP.

Terra

I was asked:

"geophf, where do I invest on the Terra blockchain?"

Woo, boy.

Here's my answer.

You see me talking about @mirror_protocol a lot, but the thing is, right now, none of the short yield farms are above 20%, so I'm HODL'n right now and not putting money in.

So, an alternative to @mirror_protocol is @ApertureFinance, that have capital-preserving yields (way) above 20%. They do require a 2000 $UST minimum deposit per asset; not everyone has the wherewithal to do that.

Both @mirror_protocol and @ApertureFinance are δNeutral CAPITAL PRESERVING protocols, which I love, a lot, but they don't grow your worth, they preserve your already-accumulated worth. So, how do you grow your worth on Terra?

I'm going to say this, and be done with it.

On the Terra blockchain, the ONLY thing that matters is:

$LUNA

Your $LUNA bag determines your Terra happiness.

Now, how to use $LUNA? Staking is the worst option I find, and liquid staking, or (leveraged) LPs are the best options. So, I have $LUNA everywhere, but the protocols I'm hodl'n and watching are:

@mars_protocol and
@staderlabs

Let's talk about @mars_protocol for a second.

Since @mars_protocol has autocompounded LEVERAGED LPs ('fields') their returns are the crazy-best on Terra, particularly, right now, their MIR-UST leveraged LP at 125%, but their LUNA-UST leveraged LP has the best LUNA returns.

Wow!

Let's talk about @staderlabs for a second.

How to use $LUNA? LUNA-UST LP has IL, so is not for me.

@staderlabs turned $LUNA staking from just straight-up terrible to one of the best, if not the best, cases for $LUNA utility. And $LunaX - $LUNA LP is IL-free with good returns!

[insert something here about $LUNA arbs, but nah, I guess: $LUNA arbs come after you have an accumulated $LUNA bag]

Okay, those are two protocols.

Here's everything, the good, the bad, the ugly, that I'm in on the Terra blockchain.

Check it out. Copy it? (maybe not?) Critique it like this: "but why don't you ..." or "don't you think ..." for a free blocc.

Now: $SPEC is doing great! and $ASTRO and $xASTRO are doing great! $PRISM is doing (not so) great!

So were $ANC and $MIR before.

So I don't trust any of those, the only thing, for me, to watch on the Terra blockchain, solemente, is $LUNA.

$LUNA is the sine qua non of Terra.

$LUNA goes up to $1000? It makes me a millionaire.

I'll wait, and accumulate, for that day.

Now, how do I accumulate $LUNA? I buy it, of course, but now, I only buy $LUNA at a discount on @TeamKujira (HOWTO). Liquidation fulfillment claims and $LUNA arbitration are how I grow my $LUNA bag now.

Where to invest on Terra? $LUNA.

The. End.

"I have $300, geophf. Where do I put it?"

Okay, after chasing this bear down, down, down my freed up collateral and short-sale unlocks from the @mirror_protocol look like this:

  • 162 $UST ... AND:
  • 123 $aUST

Okay.

wow. 😳

So, some of it is earning ~19.5% on @anchor_protocol; some of it is not.

Can we do better? Yes. Always.

@anchor_protocol EARN is a baseline, not the pinnacle. @anchor_protocol EARN, in my book, is where you put non-productive money.

I don't have that luxury now, folks.

So, okay, then, so: "Where do I put that $300+, geophf?" is what you're asking, right?

Here's the thing. You know what working in your portfolio, and what's not. And if you DON'T know that, you'd better find out, RIGHT QUICK!

Let's find out.

Right quick.

I was asked: "What self-loans do you have? What is their [paid-off] status?"

So, because I don't have that answer at my fingertips, I built the following list as a response.

But we can (and will) do better. Let's report state and performance on these loans.

Let's study to which protocol I'm loaning.

... Hi, @DefiKingdoms Serendale and CrystalVale:

they take ~70% of the loaned tokens.

I've loaned to which blockchains?

No surprises here.

How am I going to repay the loans?

It's pretty evenly split between Heroes (in this case: questing or active income) and LPs (passive income).

Good 50% / 50% split, then.

From whence the loans come?

I've pretty evenly distributed the loan-load across portfolii and protocols, I think.

With one yield-collection on @SpecProtocol, the Terra-blockchain assumed supremacy, and not even the many (many, MANY) transactions on Harmony could change that.

HARMONY: Evoverses Self-funding experiment

Thanks to the prompting from the community, I'm opening a self-funding position on @EvoVerses.

  • I'm lending myself 0.085 $ETH from @tranquil_fi,

  • Swapping that to ~2100 $ONE

  • Swapping 1400 $ONE to $EVO

Which I will stake in the @EvoVerses LP and single-stake.

Here we go.

Here we are at @EvoVerses office.

It's very office-y.

Let's get to work.

But before we can deposit an $EVO LP, we have to create one. Let's go back to @FarmersOnlyFi to do that.

Now that we've created the LP, we can stake it on @EvoVerses.
