2024-02-11 ETHBTC-THANG! day 259

Let's do the ETHBTC-THANG!

I read the $ADA-price from @Indigo_protocol, the $SNEK-price from @MinswapDEX, and the { $ETH, $BTC }-prices from @Levana_protocol.

The EMA20 indicators for the { $ETH, $BTC } <-> $ADA-swap, either way, are too close to call, so I do nothing here.

ADA-arb

Just because there's no $ADA <-> { $ETH, $BTC }-swap today doesn't mean I'm done with @Cardano today.

Look at the EMA20s for { $ADA, $SNEK, $USD }.

We have a BUY for $SNEK using $ADA. I execute a trade on @MinswapDEX: the aim is to arb $ADA with $SNEK as the pivot-asset.

After I successfully arb $ADA with $SNEK, I'll make a video-tutorial on HOWTO do that arb.

Why is $ADA important to me? Does it have intrinsic worth? Meh, not yet

But It is the medium of exchange on @Cardano which I use to BUIDL my { $iETH, $iBTC }-bags. That's its value to me.

There is a major, MAJOR, Major, major drawback of the @Cardano blockchain: tx fees.

  • @avax fees: 18¢-per
  • @TeamKujira fees: 2¢-per
  • ... @Cardano fees: $1.43-per

What the...???

@Cardano: a request. Reduce your fees-per-transaction to 1/10th of what they are now, ... please?

... nothing further today. I looked at an ETH <-> BTC swap from liquidity I sold to KUJI, but the results were inconclusive.

My @SumoKuji vault report, 2024-02-09

Let's do the Sumo Vault-THANG!

Why? I just had @Quark_Protocol $qcKUJI unstake:

194.9417 $qcKUJI -> 197.5 $KUJI that I had staked
195.0491 $KUJI to.

So I made money right?

...yes?

But if I kept the $qcKUJI, it's now worth 197.848.

A conundrum.

Unstake.fi

@unstake_fi wen qc-assets?

But, now that I mention @unstake_fi: their only asset is to unstake $ampKUJI, and if you look at the FIN ampKUJI/KUJI board, you see why.

I wish they had a supply option, making it decentralized, like: I supply 1,000 $KUJI for instant $ampKUJI unstake, and I'd get the $ampKUJI.

Imagine the possibilities, @unstake_fi: you open asset-supply to us, and we supply the $KUJI, $MNTA, $LUNA, $WHALE, $FUZN, and whatever, for the LSDs to unstake, and we benefit by obtaining the LSDs at a 21-day, or whatever, discount.

Think about it.

My DMs are open.

Here's the other take-away: arbitrage.

Looking at the qcKUJI/KUJI board on @TeamKujira FIN as well as the ampKUJI/KUJI board, there are buy-opportunities, buying the LSD below market price, if the unstake is instant and the premium for unstake is reasonable.

I place buy-orders.

My @SumoKuji vault report, 2024-02-09

incept date: 2023-12-16

invested: $5,297.91
current value: $5,325.22
ROI: 0.52% / 3.42% APR

still to acquire: $3,672.62
vault target value: $94,629.94

This is the first time in about a month that this vault is net-positive, and the reason, besides the $STARS- and $ASTRO-surge, was the dip.

I bought $1,000-worth of $NSTK for $450, folks.

The dip: learn to love it.

  • undervalued assets: $KUJI $LUNA $ROAR $FUZN $MNTA

KUJI arbitrage on LP KUJI-ATOM/KUJI FIN order book

Let's arb $KUJI on @TeamKujira FIN with the LP KUJI-ATOM/KUJI order book.

Firstly, this arb takes FOR. EV. AH! to loop. 'Forever' being days and weeks instead of seconds.

How does this work?

I buy LP KUJI-ATOM with $KUJI on FIN (I set the price at 3.5570 $KUJI-per-LP).

How do I know that 3.557 $KUJI-per-LP is a good price?

This is the complicated part.

I find out the market price per LP by entering BOW and (any) liquidity to get KUJI-part, ATOM-part, and LP-count.

These numbers I enter into my SPREADSHEETSZORXEN to get the $KUJI-per-LP price.

Option 1: Sell LP KUJI-ATOM on FIN

Now, I said "arb'n $KUJI," right? So, I COULD put the LP KUJI-ATOM right back as a sale for $KUJI, but you'll note about this order book that buys occur much more frequently than sales.

Option 2: Remove Liquidity on BOW

I already have a sell-order in place, so I'll go with 'option 2,' as it were.

'Option 2' is this:

  1. I remove the liquidity from the LP KUJI-ATOM on @TeamKujira BOW

  1. The $ATOM I use to buy $KUJI on FIN KUJI/ATOM

  1. The $KUJI (and $KUJI in reserve) I bid LP KUJI-ATOM on FIN, looping the $KUJI -> LP KUJI-ATOM -> $KUJI-arb

C'est simple, รงa! ๐Ÿ˜Š

Post Script. How to grow KUJI-bag: staking vs. trading

p.s.: How to grow your $KUJI-bag?

I think on this often.

The above approach (OT) yielded 84 $KUJI from 73 $KUJI invested, or a 11 $KUJI gain in 15 days

ROI: 9.5%; 247.7% APR

Meanwhile, after more than 1 month, 2,600 staked $KUJI yielded 1.3 $KUJI (and other tokens)

5.31% APR

October 2023 @TeamKujira assets in play.

It's 'funny' (?) (and sad) that the majority of assets in play, 30%, are @terra_money $LUNA and variants.

This begs the question: when will Terra 2.0 come into its own? It isn't even close to Terra 1.0, STILL!

(PnL: 'profit and loss')

October 2023 trading activity by asset-trade: PNL

Most profitable: $KUJI -> $wETH
most lossy: $STARS -> $USK

I got angry with $STARS falling off the map, for months! I'm glad to see it's making a comeback now.

The most profitable trades were $KUJI-variants, which show health.

Cryptocurrency pop-answer: KUJI best prices

#cryptocurrency answer to the pop-quiz for best $KUJI prices, both high and low.

There's irony to this pop-answer, because:

  • the lowest $KUJI price is on KUJI/ATOM
  • the highest $KUJI price is on KUJI/stATOM

If these @TeamKujira order books had infinite depth, the arb's? They'd be ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ”ฅ

Cryptocurrency Pop-quiz: whither KUJI?

#cryptocurrency co-pop-quiz: whither $KUJI?

Here are the $KUJI (and $ampKUJI) @TeamKujira FIN order books.

Which order book has the best price for $KUJI, both for selling and for buying?

Show your work.

KUJI/ATOM; ATOM/KUJI: @TeamKujira barometer, ... before $MNTA, that is ๐Ÿ˜…

KUJI is now collateral on Kujira Ghost borrow

WOW-o-WOW-o-WOW, folks!

$KUJI is now available as collateral on @TeamKujira Ghost borrow.

This means you can borrow assets, like, $wBTC, $wETH, $INJ, and $LUNA, to name a few, using $KUJI as collateral!

Wow. Did I say that already? No?

Just wow, folks! ๐Ÿ˜ฑ๐Ÿ˜ฑ๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽ‰

Cryptocurrency / math / trading pop-answer: KUJI/stATOM

This is the answer to the KUJI/stATOM trading/arbitrage pop-quiz.

  1. Total number of $stATOM traded? $stATOM sold: 11.8622
  2. Total number of $KUJI bought? KUJI bought: 297.3399
  3. What is the average stATOM/KUJI-ratio? ratio: 0.03989
  4. Compute average $KUJI price from $stATOM price of $10.846. KUJI discount price: 43.2¢
Given $KUJI's price is currently 73¢
  1. Did I buy $KUJI at a discount? If so, what percent did I save? KUJI discount: 40.9% ๐Ÿ˜ฑ

Cryptocurrency/Math pop-answer: KUJI/LOCAL

It's been a while, hasn't it! ๐Ÿ˜…

This is the answer to the #cryptocurrency pop-quiz asking about KUJI/LOCAL trading and arbitration.

  • Ratio (average): 109.
  • sell back at market price: 86 KUJI, ROI on 76 $KUJI: 13%

Bonus

The straight swap from $LOCAL -> $KUJI, in this case, is the best bet. The LOCAL -> USK -> KUJI loses, quite a bit, in fact, against the direct swap back

Cryptocurrecy / math / trading pop-quiz: KUJI/stATOM

#cryptocurrency / #math / #trading pop-quiz

KUJI/stATOM order book on @TeamKujira FIN

Given $stATOM's price is $10.846 now.

I executed the following trades, trading $stATOM for $KUJI:

stATOM -> KUJI
2 -> 66.0715
0.8622 -> 31.468
5 -> 99.8004
4 -> 100

Questions follow.

  1. Total number of $stATOM traded?
  2. Total number of $KUJI bought?
  3. What is the average stATOM/KUJI-ratio?
  4. Compute average $KUJI price from $stATOM price of $10.846.

Given $KUJI's price is currently 73¢

  1. Did I buy $KUJI at a discount? If so, what percent did I save?

BONUS ARBITRAGE QUESTION!

Say I want to sell the $KUJI back to get $stATOM.

Just say: because arbiteurs gotta arbitrage.

I sell [total amount] $KUJI for [what ratio] to get [how much] $stATOM with an ROI of [what]%?

Run several scenarios. Which one is best for you, and why?

SIDE NOTE!

So my $KUJI-catch-alls all hit, giving me oodles of $KUJI, which is great! But now I have no $KUJI catch-alls. So, I free up $stATOM from the $USK mint on BLUE then I place catch-all limit order to buy $KUJI at a deep discount.

Cryptocurrency/Math pop-quiz: KUJI/LOCAL

#cryptocurrency #math #arbitrage problem.

Okay, put on your trading hats!

I just sold 76 $KUJI at 71.8¢-per for 8362 $LOCAL at 0.717¢-per.

  1. What's the ratio LOCAL/KUJI of this trade?
  2. If I sell-back the $LOCAL at market price, how much $KUJI do I get? How much do I GAIN?

BONUS!

Which is the better trade? by how much $KUJI?

  • LOCAL -> KUJI

or

  • LOCAL -> USK -> KUJI
