Choosing the right exchange to swap cryptocurrency

Here's something that bears (continuous) repeating.

Your trade differs (VASTLY) depending on the exchange you choose.

Take 1 $BTC -> $DOGE

The best exchange?

1. @PancakeSwap on @binance

2. @coinbase

3. @Uniswap, but, CAUTION: WRAPPED!

@osmosiszone doesn't even have a route for that swap!

June, 2024 Team Kujira FIN order books: PnL

I just realized yesterday: we're in the month of July!

Let's do the monthly reports.

Before I get into the reports proper(s), let's take a look at something.

This month was a light trading month for me. I only did 4 trades on @TeamKujira FIN worth ~$1k, but I made ~$350 on that ~$1k.

How?

I was trading $KUJI at $1.2-per, but my average cost was 79¢-per!

Wow!

"Well, that's because you're lucky!"

That's one way of looking at it.

Another way of looking at it is this: keep at it, even if you can only do a little, like I did, for the cumulative impact of what you do become amazing over time.

Like it did for me.

2024-06-14 @TeamKujira PnL Analysis

Number of days traded: 3
Average number of trades/day: 1.33
Average PnL/day: $121.521

Most active trading day: 2024-06-13 with 2 trades, pnl: $164.265
Most profitable trading day: 2024-06-13 with 2 trades, pnl: $164.265
Least profitable trading day: 2024-06-14 with 1 trades, pnl: $76.945

Analysis

Are you picking up what this report is putting down?

My LEAST PROFITABLE DAY EARNED ME $75 on $233 traded?!?!??

That's ... what? ... 34% PROFIT on that trade.

Do that elsewhere. It's possible. But do that elsewhere, consistently, like I do.

This isn't rocket science, folks. I know: I wrote mission planning software for satellites using ephemeris data and quaternions to calculate angles between different 3D-spaces.

This is nothing to that.

2024-05-28 ETHBTC Trading

Let's turn our attention to ETH/BTC pivot-trading.

The ETH/BTC-EMA20 says SELL, and I have $ETH to sell to $BTC.

Let's see how this plays out.

Before I do that, I claim $wstETH on @TeamKujira FIN at 1.16-per-$wETH, which is a good buy, as the exchange rate on @LidoFinance is 1.167.

I then place the very reasonable sell-order back on FIN at 11.1-per, as that's the lowest asking price. Eheh. πŸ”₯πŸ˜…

So! My ETHBTC-calculator says:

  • ETH: 1.44556 trade: 0.09356267365 / $359.81 to 0.00526354565 BTC

So! I

  1. withdraw that amount of $ETH from @TeamKujira Ghost,

  1. swap to $BTC on @Manta_DAO,

  1. lend the $BTC on Ghost

  1. to bid for liquidated $KUJI on ORCA

BOUM! BOUM! BOUM!

Nolus

Meanwhile, I've accumulated $NLS-yields on @NolusProtocol Earn-page. I collect those yields. I see the swap is better on @osmosiszone, so I IBC my $NLS over to @osmosiszone and swap to $USDC.axl there.

I ship the $axlUSDC (or, as they call it: $USDC.axl) to @TeamKujira, which involves me seeding my @axelarnetwork wallet addy with some $AXL then hopping my $USDC from osmosis -> axelar -> kujira, because that's how it's gotta be: complicated af to keep grandma off the blockchain.

Let's finish up this report from yesterday.

I got so p.o.'d from the $axlUSDC being '$USDC.axl' and needing two hops with an $AXL-seed to fund transfers to and from @axelarnetwork, that never finished the report-piece of the ETHBTC-trade 🧡

😀

I move the $USDC.axl to @TeamKujira Ghost then immediately bid on liquidated $PAXG on ORCA with it. With the $BTC I swapped to from $ETH, I Ghost-ORCA bid it for liquidated $KUJI.

If neither bid hits, I'm still making 48% APR on the lent $USDC.axl and a with bit with the $BTC.

Hard Reset

I'm doing a hard-reset on this portfolio: I got entangled with $BTC I borrowed when it was $18k-per.

I was like: "Hey: why not? It's never going up." πŸ₯ΊπŸ˜

So, after incorporating the blue chips of $BNB (that, very nicely, went 3x up) and $PAXG, and a rebalance, I start over.

2024-05-18 ETHBTC Trading

We WERE talking about the ETHBTC-THANG! ... yes?

So, I suppose it'd be best if I had started with a proper analysis, then?

ETH/BTC-EMA20 is BUY, but I don't have $BTC so I chill.

BNB

I withdraw an $xwETH bid for liquidated $KUJI on @TeamKujira ORCA, then withdraw that collateral from Ghost and swap to $wBNB on @Manta_DAO. I lend the $BNB on Ghost.

I'm only swapping $100-worth, not ~$500-worth, as called for, as I'm starting smol with this new blue-chip $BNB.

PAXG

The PAXG/BNB-EMA20 SELL-call is a very soft call:

SELL 0.0728 $PAXG: 0.0015 or $3.67;
$100.00 is 0.04187 $PAXG

so I'll not swap, based on the small-call.

PAXG/BTC is BUY, but no $BTC means no BUY.
PAXG/ETH is HODL, so I HODL.

FIN / ETH

Moving onto @TeamKujira FIN:

A bid of $wETH hit for $wstETH. It's a partial fulfillment, but a good one, as I underbid market (1.1669) by a considerable amount.

I place a sell order for that $wstETH at 11x.

Yes, 11x.

If you want to buy $wstETH, I'm happy to sell it to you. 😎
