The ETHBTC-THANG!

That does not mean, since I have no $BTC to swap, that I'm not going to buy $ETH, ... at these prices?

And, yes, I remember when $ETH was $1.1k-per.

But BUY $ETH, yes.

So I swap some $DAI on @optimismFND to $OP on @VelodromeFi, the transfer that to my @coinbase wallet.

I have to say here, I do respect how @coinbase doesn't have a bridge, instead: you want $OP? Use an @optimismFND-address. You want $AVAX? Use an @avax-address. This doesn't solve all problems, but it does solve the bridge-hack-exploits that have been plaguing us of late.

For the DeFi-approach to this @THORChain has lead the way with multiple assets from multiple chains all under one ... 'chain'? ... 'umbrella'? ... 'wallet-that-has-multiple-addresses'?

Then there's @cosmos' IBC.

I wonder if this is the future of multichain liquidity.

HOWTO IBC transfer (ex: $ROAR from Kujira to Terra)

OKAY! MUH @TheLionDAO-ineans IN THE PRIDE!

There's been some cross-chain delays, bridge the $ROAR airdrop from @TeamKujira to Terra, so @hlboey recommended I use IBC-transfer. That worked swimmingly!

How to do it?

Step-by-step guide bridging $ROAR to Terra using IBC 🧵

Preliminaries

• Go to your Keplr wallet, select Kujira zone

• Go to settings (from upper left side drop down)

• in settings, activate 'Developer Mode.'

You're now ready to cook, ... WITH GAS! 😤

Scan your Keplr wallet, paying particular attention to $ROAR's channel.

Then go to "IBC Transfer" and select $ROAR's Terra channel from the destination drop-down.

If you don't have it already, add it. (That's why you need that info from your $ROAR-hoarde). 

Now, if this is your first time doing an IBC-transfer, may I suggest floating a trial balloon? 🎈

Transfer only 1,000 $ROAR and see if that ends up in your Terra wallet.

Better to lose 1,000 $ROAR than 10M $ROAR, amirite, fam?

Finna: transfer your $ROAR (duh). 🤪

I'm only transferring half, because the other half I put into the @TeamKujira BOW ROAR-USK LP, but you do what you like.

Once transferred, you can now stake your $ROAR on @TheLionDAO.

BTC on Team Kujira Blockchain: HOWTO

So, as you can see, I'm selling $wBTC on @TeamKujira FIN order books. 

This begs the question:

"How did you get $wBTC onto Kujira, o, the el geophf?"

Good question.

Let's walk through how I did it.

First, to transfer $BTC to @TeamKujira blockchain, I have to own $BTC.

It follows.

So, I have all this $OSMO lying around, doing nothing (because the ATOM/OSMO order book is so ded).

So, the first thing I do is to transfer all my $OSMO to the Osmosis blockchain. 

Then, once that liquidity is on Osmosis, I swap the $OSMO to $wBTC.

Then transfer the $wBTC to the Axelar blockchain. 

Why? Because the @TeamKujira bridge only takes $wBTC from @axelarcore on the Cosmos Blockaverse.

But first @axelarcore needs $AXL, so I swap and transfer that.

Transferring $wBTC from @osmosiszone to @axelarcore IS straightforward, once you know the trick.

I didn't.

So, I called up Axelar's Satellite bridge and began the process that way.

During that, Satellite asked me if I wanted to transfer using Keplr?

I said: "yes." 🤓😅

Once the $wBTC is on @axelarcore blockchain, THEN you go to the @TeamKujira IBC and it permits the import of $wBTC from @axelarcore.

And TADA! 🎉 I have $wBTC on @TeamKujira blockchain!

HOWTO: Bridge LUNA from Terra to Kujira

1. Once upon a time I wanted to test the Terra bridge: https://bridge.terra.money/

1. So I requested to bridge some $LUNA over to @TeamKujira 

1. It took no time at all to bridge the $LUNA to @TeamKujira blockchain.

The. End. 

Terra (classic) Bridge reopened

It appears that the Terra (classic) bridges are back in service.

Let's try something on @mirror_protocol:

• I collect the $MIR-yields

• I swap to $USTC on @astroport_fi, which has a better swap than @loop_finance 

I have liquidity now, so I go to @mirror_protocol to swap to fund a farm. Which one? Let's try $mPYPL.

There's a ... 'slight' problem. @mirror_protocol barfs when I attempt to swap $USTC for $mPYPL. 

It looks like the smart contract is blocc'd on execution.

Now, @terraswap_io has SOME mirrored assets, but the viable tokens have more than 95% slippage, so that's a big IXNAY to, e.g.: $mMSFT. 

But the 90%+ drained tokens (e.g.: $mDOT, $mETH, $mBTC) DO have availability.

This means I throw away my money, either way

So, let's try $mDOT.

The first attempted swap failed...

But the second attempt went through.

Persistence, eh?

But, when I attempt to pair and to farm the mirrored asset on @mirror_protocol, I get the same contract error.

Huh.

Per @reglisos, I deposited into a @SpecProtocol vault, then withdrew from the vault, right away, BUT AS AN LP, not as separated assets, THEN I was able to stake on the @mirror_protocol My Page.

SWEET! 

I'm now farming on @mirror_protocol ... with drained mirrored assets. YMMV.

Synthesis

My thought here, folks.

Only drained mirror assets are lying around, and @mirror_protocol is on a compromised blockchain.

Yes, the yields are great!

Yes, I'm yield-farming on @mirror_protocol 

But this is very, very, you-lose-all-your-investment risk.

Bridging USTC onto and off of Harmony and Terra

#dedchain? What's that you say? "Harmony and Terra (classic) (and, tbh, Terra 2.0) are #dedchain"?

Huh: 'ded' for you is very much alive for me.

Let's bridge $USTC onto and off of both Terra (classic) and Harmony.

First, I show I have no $USTC on Harmony. 

Next, I ensure my Terra (station) wallet is on Terra classic, as evidenced by the bright orange bar at the top saying 'Classic.' If not, I can gear-shift it onto Terra classic.

So, yeah: Terra (classic), ... which is the only viable Terra for me. 

To transfer $USTC to Harmony from Terra Classic, we NEED $USTC. Where do I get $USTC?

$MIR yields from @mirror_protocol, of course.

@mirror_protocol has consistently got 100%+ APY through thick and thin. It's the best #cryptocurrency protocol, bar none. Sorry. #notsorry 

I also have some @astroport_fi yields to collect from the locked LPs, so: yay. 

Lock away tens of thousands of dollars, collect yields worth ... checks notes, ... $1.17.

GOOD DEAL! #sarcasm 🙄 

Swap-swap-swap. 

I swap the collected $MIR, $MINE, and $ASTRO to $USTC on @astroport_fi, which has a better swap than @loop_finance (I checked for each).

Then I bridge that $USTC to Harmony using https://classic-bridge.terra.money/. 

Let's go to Harmony and generate some $USTC, by generating $ONE.

The $ECHO price continues to fall, but the yields match the price-fall, so... I'm losing my principal for yields?

Ugh.

I collect $ECHO yields and swap that and other assets to $ONE.

This is the state of the Reflectaverse self-funding experiment.

Interesting note, I had LESS $ECHO yields if I collected yesterday but it was worth the SAME as the $USD value I collected today.

The $ECHO yields are dead-in-the-water to the $ECHO price-fall.

Not good. 

Now, let's get that $USTC off Harmony. What $USTC?

• We BRIDGE the $USTC to Terra using https://classic-bridge.terra.money/

• and, ... voilà! We have the $USTC on Terra now. 

What happened to the $USTC I bridged to Harmony back at the beginning of this thread, 1 hour, 19', 27" ago?

I don't know.

It hasn't shown up on Harmony.

Okay, it's been a while.

Busy day.

I BRIDGE the $USTC from Terra to Avalanche; this $USTC is targeted for my $BTC.b self-loan pay-down.

On Avalanche, 

• I SWAP the $USTC to $BTC.b on @traderjoe_xyz 

• then SUPPLY that $BTC.b to @BenqiFinance, paying down my self-loan. 

... which brings our $BTC self-loan pay-down on 2022-08-10 to the following. 

Before we call it a night, there are some $QI yields from the QI-AVAX staked LP to collect. 

My plan for these $QI yields is to

• SWAP 50% for $AVAX on @pangolindex 

• SUPPLY the $AVAX and $QI to the @BenqiFinance 

The supplied $AVAX pays-down my self-loan. 

The chart's burn-down doesn't look impressive, ... now, but as we build momentum, you'll start to see impact.
