Exiting FTM positions

I am exiting all my $FTM positions.

With turbulance on @FantomFDN, with it transitioning to its new token $S, I no longer know if $FTM will hold value, long-term.

I'm sad, because Fantom was a cute, cheap blockchain.

Too bad they got hacked.

Too bad I lost $69k in that hack.

Rebranding ETHBTC portfolio into Indigo portfolio and Blue Chip portfolio

I'm making a strategic rebranding: I'm renaming and splitting into two the ETHBTC portfolio into:

  • the Indigo Portfolio

and

  • the Blue Chip portfolio.

I've been thinking about this shift for some time now, as neither are purely ETHBTC. This change takes effect now.

Cryptocurrency pop-quiz: realizing metadata as data in a graph

Looking at the answer to the previous #cryptocurrency pop-quiz ("What's my $ETH position?") leaves something to be desired, particularly, a CASE-statement in graph query always, always, always means you're creating a metagraph of the graph.

Creating a meta-graph is all well and good for a quick-n-dirty solution, and that's fine for some.

Not for me.

#cryptocurrency pop-quiz

Create a (meta-)mapping of token-types to tokens, e.g.: 'blue chip' to $BTC, 'stable' to $USDC, etc.

Then, upload that meta-data as a graph.

Part II, pop-quiz:

When you've realized these metadata as data, rewrite the query to entail this embedded knowledge.

Show your work and results.

Whose portfolio is it? Don't blame the whales for portfolio performance.

I love it when somebody who has 1 follower tells me what not to tweet, so:

Dear whale, whomsoever you are – not telling you what to do by any stretch, 'cuz you do you! – but if you are so inclined to dump more, please dump harder, because I'm lovin' these sales.

love, geophf 😍

... and hey! If YOU, dear reader, get liquidated in this alt-price-plummet, guess whose fault it is? If _I_ get liquidated, guess whose fault it is?

Not the whale's fault.

This happens every time: prices go up; whales dump.

It's YOUR fault and it's MINE for playing with fire.

ORCA protects you on the down-side: you MAKE MONEY during a crash, folks! Instead of losing money, getting liquidated, I MAKE MONEY bidding on other people's liquidations.

I've said this before. I say this now.

The markets go up; the markets go down.

The markets do whatever.

If you're a trader, the markets don't matter.

Why?

Because YOU KNOW the markets are volatile, and YOU've created strategies to make money, no matter what the markets do.

Optimism portfolio 2024-04-06

Let's do the @Optimism-THANG!

Granary

First off, there's a money-market play: @GranaryFinance.

  1. Supply $sUSD at 33% APY (APR?)
  2. Borrow any stable you like (say $DAI; ... NOT $sUSD)
  3. Swap to $sUSD on @VelodromeFi
  4. Loop.

You're looping at 20% δ.

Beethoven

The @beethoven_x LPs on @Optimism have been lovely. Except the "All in on the Grain Train"-LP. That's sucked.

But it's time for me to manage my liquidity.

I withdraw all LPs to $wETH (and $wstETH swapped to $ETH).

Synthetix

The @Optimism blockchain has @synthetix_io which has several protocols, some dealing with options and hedge, so you stake $SNX to mint $sUSD to ...

... I don't know. I don't get it. I tried to, but this isn't my cuppa.

I pull my debt hedge from @torosfinance and burn the $sUSD.

After I free up my staked $SNX, I see the SNX/stable EMA20 is 'BUY!'

AND!

Toros

I have profited from @torosfinance $dSNX debt-hedge, leaving over some $sUSD.

On the EMA20's recommendation, let's swap to $SNX on @VelodromeFi.

I have some lovely positions on @torosfinance (besides the $dSNX). I move all the liquidity off Toros. It's not that they didn't do great! They did.

It's just that I have other plans for that liquidity.

I put that plan into action, right away, as OP/USD-EMA20 says buy, so I swap some $USDC to $OP on @VelodromeFi.

There's a BUY-call for SNX/USD, so I swap $USDC to $SNX, as well.

Arbitrage

So, let's get to my new purpose for my @Optimism portfolio: $ETH-arbitrage.

First, I swap some $ETH to $OP on that EMA20 call on @VelodromeFi

Next, I buy some $LDO on @VelodromeFi, both from $USDC and $wETH, as both EMA20 indicators call BUY.

Then, the SNX/ETH-EMA20 says BUY, so I swap $ETH for $SNX on @VelodromeFi

One final EMA20-directed-swap: the EMA20 for ETH/stable says BUY, so I swap $USDC for $wETH on @VelodromeFi

Granary

Finally, a bit of housekeeping: I swap the $USDC to $sUSD and the $wETH to $ETH and deposit into @GranaryFinance.

Hey, @GranaryFinance, can you allow me to deposit $wETH or $ETH to supply $ETH on @Optimism, please?

So, now I have positions on @GranaryFinance on @Optimism.

Kujira portfolio 2024-04-04

Let's do the @TeamKujira (main addy)-THANG!

I run ./kfc to get and to repose today's prices on FIN.

./kfin (called by ./kfc, but you knew that already).

So, first up, on @TeamKujira FIN, I have filled orders. Let's claim these.

These orders – $FTM, $AVAX, $WINK, $AQLA – precipitate reports for other protocols, like my ORCA-protocol or my Sumo-protocol, but these will come in due turn.

#protip You may have $KUJI delegated to an inactive validator. Go to https://blue.kujira.network/stake?status=BOND_STATUS_UNBONDED (select 'inactive') and see which inactive validators are holding your $KUJI, then unstake that $KUJI or you might lose it.

I unstake my $KUJI from the inactive validators.

#PSA

Now I move liquidity to specialized wallet addy's.

I move $INJ, $AVAX, and $FTM to my ORCA addy.

I move my claimed $AQLA and $WINK to my Sumo vault addy.

And I have some $KUJI. I move this $KUJI to three addy's: { kujiatom, kujiluna, mntakuji } to arbitrate $KUJI using the wallet's token as the pivot asset.

I also have some $LVN. I move that to the mntakuji addy because it can be pivoted against those two tokens.

Come to find I have some $stINJ.

Let's get rid of that!

I IBC it over to @stride_zone and begin the process of slow-burn. I'll see that $INJ on @injective on May 1.
