Arbitrum USDC and ETH farmed on Demex

Okay, my plan with the @arbitrum $ETH and $USDC tokens.

Let's start with $USDC.

First, I've transferred all my $USDC to @demexchange. Why? There's nothing on @arbitrum, and @demexchange has an USDC-USC LP now yielding 33% APY, which is pretty good for a stable stablecoin pool.

Now, you have to be careful with LPs on @demexchange. For example, they SAY it's 1-to-1.

They.
lie.

It's 1 $USDC to 3 $USC for their LP.

Accordingly, I put 750 (of the 1000) $USDC up for trade on their USDC/USC order book.

Unlike @TeamKujira FIN, where you have to claim your fulfilled order, @demexchange trades fill-as-they-fill, you get your money as the trade plays out, which is neat.

Half this trade has filled, so I provide some liquidity to the stable stablecoin pool.

So, now I have an LP on @demexchange earning me 33% on my $USDC and $USC.

Sweet!

So, now: $ETH on @arbitrum. Nothing to invest on @arbitrum, but @demexchange has 2 things going for it.

  1. 25% APY on the stable wstETH-ETH LP

  1. A loop that makes sense with 75% LTV on $wstETH and plenty of $ETH to borrow.

Perhaps the only viable loop on @demexchange Nitron.

The wstETH-ETH LP IS 1-to-1, so here's my plan.

  • 50% of my $ETH I'll kinda* loop on Nitron
  • 50% of my $ETH I'll use to provide the LP

*kinda, adv.: The loop is broke af, as you supply @arbitrum $wstETH but you get back totally useless @ethereum $ETH?!?

We'll walk through this.

So! First thing I do is swap 75% of my $ETH for $wstETH on @arbitrum @KyberNetwork,

then I transfer both to @demexchange.

The transfer takes a verra long, sweetened ice tea time.

I take the $ETH and some of the $wstETH and provide that to the LP on the @demexchange Earn-page, then stake the LP for a 2x-gain on the APY.

The remaining $wstETH I supply on Nitron, giving me 1 $wstETH on @demexchange.

Milestone: reached.

I then borrow 0.7 $ETH.

Here's where the fun begins, because it's @ethereum $ETH, INCOMPATIBLE WITH @arbitrum $ETH.

How do I trade @ethereum $ETH to @arbitrum $ETH?

Let's see.

I cannot ship @ethereum $ETH to @arbitrum from @demexchange, and if I go through @ethereum, I pay such stupid-high fees that renders any looping strategy useless.

BUT! I can send $SWTH from @demexchange to @arbitrum.

SO! I place an order on the SWTH/ETH order book,

and I wait.

When that order hits, probably not today, I'll transfer the $SWTH to @arbitrum, swap it to $ETH on @KyberNetwork then repeat the loop:

  • 50% going to wstETH-ETH LP
  • 50% going to $wstETH supply on Nitron

Until I can't loop no mo'.

The. End.
